We’ve just wrapped up our realistic fiction unit in reading. Our next unit is on nonfiction books. We’ll be studying the unique features of informational texts.
In math, we continue to explore area and perimeter.
In social studies, we read about the Pilgrims’ journey on the Mayflower. We read the Mayflower Compact and wrote about the significance of this document.
In writing, students have moved on to the next phase of drafting their informational books.
