In reading, students finished up the book critiques they wrote for their realistic fiction books.
In math, we began a unit on measurement. We discussed two systems of measurement, the U.S. customary system and the metric system. We also introduced perimeter and began finding the perimeter of rectangular shapes.
In writing, students continue to draft their informational books.
In social studies, we have been reading about the Pilgrims before the Mayflower journey. Students learned about the reasons why the Pilgrims left Europe.
