Word Study

Above, you will find a typical schedule for our weekly word study practice. On Monday, students will bring home a sheet outlining that week's:
  • homophones,
  • word wall words, and
  • targeted spelling pattern. 
New skills are introduced and practiced in school. Students are expected to study these skills in preparation for a quiz on Friday. One of the choices is to practice activities on the website SpellingCity. (Note: This website requires Adobe Flash Player, and therefore is not compatible with iPads and some web browsers. However, there is a free SpellingCity app if you are interested!)
